A Museum Piece

I am very happy and proud to announce that I am featured as FDR in The People’s House, a White House Experience. This new museum is located at 1700 Pennsylvania Avenue, one block from the actual White House. It was created by The White House Historical Association, a private, nonprofit organization founded in 1961 by First Lady Jacqueline Kennedy with a mission to protect, preserve, and provide public access to the rich history of America’s Executive Mansion.

This cutting-edge educational museum experience tells the story of the Executive Mansion, its inhabitants and the people who have dedicated their careers to its functions. Exhibits are on permanent display year-round.

I appear as President Franklin Roosevelt in The White House in Action, a Front Row Seat section. This exhibit allows you to experience and interact with a presidential cabinet meeting through an immersive media experience. You sit in on a meeting in the Cabinet Room to participate in a historic conversation about how to deal with The Great Depression. Also in this exhibit are cabinet scenes of Abraham Lincoln and John F. Kennedy.

The entire museum has dozens of displays on various aspects of the White House.  All provide interactive involvement.  It is fun and educational for people of all ages. The White House Historical Association is to be commended for creating this jewel in our nation’s capital. The museum has already won numerous awards since it’s opening in the Fall of 2024.

My thanks to Cortina Productions for selecting me to portray our 32nd President and creating a compelling technological wonder.  I hope you are able to visit.  Learn more at the museum’s website:  http://www.thepeopleshouse.org.
